Aspen Hill General and Cosmetic Dentistry is looking for a full time, Assistant Front Desk/Business manager to assist with the day-to-day operations of our busy front desk! We are a multi-specialty dental office, with a wide array of specialties including: General Dentist, Endodontics, Periodontics, Pedodontics, Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, and Oral surgery. In this position, you will assist the Front Desk Manager and Business Office Manager with insuring the every day tasks are completely in a timely and orderly fashion.

Duties:

• Assisting Check in and Checkout staff
• Create and describe treatment plans
• Explain copays and ensure patients understand
• Sending record releases
• Monitoring office email and managing referrals
• Answering phones
• Checking copays
• Oversee all payment plans and recurring payments
• Linking insurance
• Checking eligibility for Medicaid and HMO insurances
• Competing breakdowns for PPO insurances
• Ensuring schedules are filled and productive
• Oversee all production/collections of the office to ensure we are profitable and on track to meet goals
• Maintain and renew all licenses of staff
• Conduct reviews of staff members and departments to ensure efficiency
• Assist the Business Office Manager with Admin duties as needed.
• Assist with Orthodontics Schedule and operations

Requirements:

• Dental Office experience (3 years preferred but willing to train)
• Able to delegate and work in a supervisory position
• Bachelor's degree REQUIRED
• Spanish Speaking preferred
• Previous experience working with insurances is a plus, not required
• Team oriented
• Ability to multitask
• Flexible and Reliable
• Must be detail oriented
