Project Engineer

Aspen Developers Corp. is looking for a motivated and organized Project Engineer to join our growing team. As a Project Engineer, you will assist with planning, executing, and closeout of various construction projects and ensure they are completed on time and within budget.

Aspen Developers Corp. pursues heavy/civil work as both a General Contractor and as a Subcontractor including sitework, utilities, mass grading, renewables, and environmental restoration projects in Northern NV and Northern CA. We are focused on growth and providing ample opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assist in cost control through all aspects of the construction process
• Participate in initial job planning and layout where possible for each project.
• Coordinate submittals and procurement with suppliers and subcontractors
• Track productions, quantities and change orders
• Create and maintain the project schedule to track progress
• Conduct regular site visits
• Assist with bid and estimating process
• Prepare takeoffs and quantify project components
• Assist in preparing bids and proposals
• Identify required suppliers and subcontractors
• Assist with creating estimate, crew compositions, and productions

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or related job experience
• Able to read plans and specifications
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Experience with software such as Bluebeam, P6, Sage, or B2W
• Past construction work experience is preferred
