ASP Cares Pharmacy is Hiring a Pharmacy Technician Near Houston, TX
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team (M-F 9-5). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, filling prescriptions, verifying insurance coverage, and accurately maintaining records. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Pharmacy Technician must also be able to work with a variety of people in a professional manner. Spanish speaking technicians are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of all medications dispensed.
- Understand and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations regarding the dispensing of medications.
- Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions and providing customer service.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about medications and other health-related products.
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies.
- Package and label medications for delivery or pickup.
- Verify patient information for accuracy.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
