ASM Global-SMG is Hiring a Brand Coordinator-Part Time Near Richmond, VA

POSITION: Brand Coordinator DEPARTMENT: Sales & Marketing REPORTS TO: Marketing Manager FLSA STATUS: Part-Time ASM Global, the world's leading venue management company and producer of live event experiences, has an opening for a part-time Brand Coordinator at ASM Richmond - Altria Theater & Dominion Energy Center. This position provides support to the marketing team by assisting with crafting and organizing social content for the brand social media channels. The ideal candidate will have experience posting on public-facing social media channels, interacting with customers while utilizing a brand voice, and have knowledge of the entertainment industry. The position reports to the Marketing Manager in the Sales and Marketing department. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Marketing Manager with creating and executing compelling social content across multiple venue channels simultaneously Author content/copy/messages using the appropriate brand voice(s) Schedule and execute social posts upon approval from supervisor and/or promoter clients Assists with the management of the departmental social calendar Assists with the curation and organization of content archives Works on-site at performances and special events to capture content in-real time, cross posting to venue channels and monitoring direct messages for customer service issues as they arise Supervises contractors or media representatives/press day-of-show as needed Present and activate interactive patron/fan programs such as contests, polls, surveys, and giveaways Research, vet, and engage with area/regional influencers for future collaborations and partnerships Other tasks and duties as assigned Qualifications Must have a college degree or 1 years of relevant experience in social media and content creation Photography and videography skills required Experience with professional photography/videography equipment a plus Graphic design skills a plus Organized self-starter with meticulous attention to detail Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, experience utilizing for business accounts preferred Experience in social media management/monitoring tools a plus Excellent grammar and copywriting skills Experience working at concerts, music festivals, or large-scale events a plus Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays required Ability to work under limited supervision and interact with all levels of staff, including venue management Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
