Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Responsible for the oversight and/or processing/reviewing all invoices and purchases for operations and F&B Responsible for reviewing and month end keying of F&B Inventory Responsible for Concession event file review and Financial Statement Reporting Responsible for Catering BEO review and Financial Statement Reporting Prepare and analyze information for monthly sales tax filing and financial statements Analyze all data and report to building management Update flash reports Prepare various sales reports and operational reports as required by AGM Ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed Assists as the back-up for Accounts Receivable function as necessary Completes Balance Sheet Reconciliations & Bank Reconciliations This position is issued a company paid cell phone, which requires you to answer and reply to all phone calls, text messages, and emails in a timely manner (within 24 hours). It is also required that subordinates are given your number and are able to reach you utilizing this cell phone. Abides by all SMG policies in the Human Resources Policies and Procedures Manual, the Business Code of Conduct and the Cash Handling Procedures Other duties as assigned Skills Required Work independently, exercising judgment and initiative Maintain an effective working relationship with employees and others encountered through the course of employment. Operate standard office equipment and personal computer(s) using MS-DOS, MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Word. Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions. Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form. Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur. Work in a fast paced environment. Minimum Requirements B.S. in Accounting or four years equivalent experience required. Prefer but not required prior experience in a Food & Beverage cash or banking environment. Working Conditions: Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours. Physical requirements of walking, lifting and standing. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
