ACRS seeks a full-time Supervisor – Children’s Clinical (Mental Health) who Assists the Director with program development, planning, organizing and day- to- day oversight of ACRS’s CYF Mental Health, Co-occurring, and Behavioral conditions Counseling Program. Provides clinical supervision and consultations with staff and monitors staff performance. ***Schedule: Mon Fri, no weekend work! COMPETITIVE BENEFTIS PACKAGE INCLUDES:Pay range is between $76,800 to $83,200 annually. Can increase based on experience with possible increases after 6 months from date of hire.ACRS pays 75-85% of your medical and dental vision insurance on or coinciding with your date of hireVision insurance is available at a very minimal costACRS pays 100% of your life, AD&D and long-term disability insurance on or coinciding with your date of hireEmployer paid commuter card and free parking availablePaid Time off:8 hours of vacation accrued from day 1, available to use after 6 months of employment8 hours of sick leave, accrued from day 1, available to use once accrued, no waiting period1 floating holiday, available after 1 year of employment13 paid holidaysIT equipment provided, with telecommuting reimbursement availableFlexibility with hybrid work403b Retirement savings accountSimplified Employee PensionEmployee assistance program ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Plans, supervises, and directs work assignments for bilingual, culturally competent direct-service staff through individual and group supervisions; oversees and performs CYF Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder Counseling Program intake assessments and evaluations; monitors performance of assigned staff and conducts timely performance reviews; approves salary increases per agency budget and policies. Takes formal, corrective action to ensure high quality services, including input to dismiss employee; resolves complaints and grievances lodged by clients. Responsible for screening, interviewing and hiring new employees. Trains and orients new employees on program work assignments as well as agency policies and procedures. Plans, develops, and conducts training both in-house and in the community: Assists with the implementation of internal and external continuous quality assessment and improvement (CQI) process. Assists staff in developing and implementing service plans with attention to cultural relevance and competency, procedures and regulations. Monitors staff paper work flow, quality of clinical documentation in case files, accuracy of funding sources and opening and termination of cases in timely manner. Ensures that program requirements, goals and standards are met. Assists with monitoring contract/service, program budget, program management; and the development and implementation of program policies, standard and procedures. Assists with the development and writing of proposals and grant applications. Works with children, youth and their families to develop and implement person-centered, holistic, recovery oriented and community care plan. Provides quality assessments, evaluation, and counseling services to clients with attention to cultural relevance and competency. Coordinates with other organizations/service providers and professionals in the community regarding client care coordination. Assesses service needs in API communities. Represents the agency in public planning processes, provider coalitions and work groups; represents needs of API communities. Provides outreach to schools and communities to promote the services. Participates in the development of needed community resources and services. Attends meetings and conferences as appropriate. Participates in training, meetings, supervision and conferences. Other job-related duties as assigned by management. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Masters Degree and three (3) years of experience in counseling or children's mental health/substance use/recovery service OR Licensed mental health professional with children's mental health specialization and/or Chemical Dependency Professional and minority mental health specialization (as per WAC requirements) AND Two (2) years of supervisory experience. Knowledge of principles and characteristics of mental and emotional illness, child development, program development, various treatment methods, evidence based practices and best practice models with children, DSM V, individual, group, family counseling techniques, and community resources. Ability to provide effective and respectful quality care and services that are responsive to diverse cultural beliefs and practices. Prefer fluency in Asian/Pacific Islander language. Ability to administer and analyze data, speak and write clearly and effectively, organize work, and exercise mature judgment. Effective ability to navigate a personal computer. Competency in use of the Microsoft Office and other relevant software for word processing, calendaring, e-mail, and data entry. Efficiently research and perform various tasks via the internet. WORKING CONDITIONS: Regularly required to walk; use hands and arms to reach and operate objects, tools, or controls. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Some work will be performed offsite (i.e. outside classes or meetings with employers). The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
