Asian Counseling & Referral Service is Hiring a BH - Clinical Mental Health Case Manager I or II (Cambodian speaking) Near Seattle, WA

ACRS seeks a full-time Cambodian speaking Clinical Mental Health Case Manager who can provide entry-level culturally competent and recovery-oriented case management and counseling services for members of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community living with a mental illness. Works with clients to develop and implement person-centered, holistic, community-based and recovery-oriented care whole-health plan. Performs services in compliance with agency policies and with contract and regulatory standards and requirement.***Schedule: Mon Fri, no weekend work!COMPETITIVE BENEFITS PACKAGE INCLUDES:Pay range is between $55,300 to $65,400 annually.Can increase based on experience with possible increases after 6 months from date of hire.ACRS pays 75-85% of your medical and dental vision insurance on or coinciding with your date of hireVision insurance is available at a very minimal costACRS pays 100% of your life, AD&D and long-term disability insurance on or coinciding with your date of hireEmployer paid commuter card and free parking availablePaid Time off:8 hours of vacation accrued from day 1, available to use after 6 months of employment8 hours of sick leave, accrued from day 1, available to use once accrued, no waiting period1 floating holiday, available after 1 year of employment13 paid holidaysIT equipment provided, with telecommuting reimbursement availableFlexibility with hybrid work403b Retirement savings accountSimplified Employee PensionEmployee assistance programESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Conducts comprehensive assessments and reassessments addressing a broad range of life domains and developing strengths-based service care plan with the client.Provides individual and group counseling services in a variety of therapeutic modalities with attention to cultural relevance and cultural and recovery competency and utilizing supervision and psychiatric consultation, when appropriate.Delivers client services based on the care whole-health plan, including visiting clients at their home and at other community locations accessible to clients.Provides outpatient crisis/emergency services.Provides client advocacy in attaining services and assistance in areas such as employment, housing, medical resources, financial assistance, legal advocacy, naturalization, transportation and any areas in need.Provides integrated and holistic services to meet the range of clients whole-health care needs and based in recovery and wellness principles. Provides coordinated services in compliance with relevant State, County, and City standards, including meeting expectations of the applicable systems. Expected to meet program performance and/or productivity standards.Prepares concise, complete, and accurate progress notes and program documentation according to agency policy and system standards. Completes all of the required documentation and reports relevant to public payors, such as Medicaid and other third party payors, such as private insurers, in a timely manner. Expected to meet program documentation standards.Performs program outreach in the community. Explains program policy and services to clients and others.Participates in training, meetings, supervision, consultations, and conferences.Coordinates and cooperates with other agencies, organizations, and natural supports on client evaluation, care plans, and follow-up to meet state and agency requirements and to ensure quality care to clients.Provides team back up when case coverage as needed.Other job-related duties as assigned by management.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in social work or social/behavioral science; ORBachelor’s degree plus one (1) year social services experience.ORAssociate’s degree or equivalent in social work or social/ behavioral science plus three (3) years social services experience.ORHS diploma or equivalent, with five (5) years’ experience in direct treatment.Knowledge of: principles of recovery-based services, characteristics of mental and emotional illness; current social/economic problems; interview techniques; individual and group behavior; and simple treatment methods.Ability to: work as a team member with professional and support staff; analyze and draw conclusions from case records; apply casework principles to individual situations; and exercise judgment and organize multiple tasks.Employee must have a vehicle or reliable transportation to fulfill all job duties. If using personal or agency vehicle, this includes valid current Driver’s license and must be insurable under agency’s auto policy. If using personal vehicle, must have current auto insurance.Ability to provide effective and respectful quality care and services that are responsive to diverse cultural beliefs and practices. Prefer fluency in Cambodian language.Effective ability to navigate a personal computer. Competency in use of the Microsoft Office and other relevant software for word processing, calendaring, email, and data entry. Efficiently research and perform various tasks via the internet.WORKING CONDITIONS: Regularly required to walk; use hands and arms to reach and operate objects, tools, or controls. Must occasionally lift up to/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Some work will be performed offsite (e.g., home visits or external meetings). The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
