ABOUT THE ROLE
Under the direction of the Community Engagement Managing Director, the Community Engagement Navigator is responsible for working directly with community members, including but not limited to: case management and service navigation, community outreach and education, and community partner relationship-building.
Working directly with vulnerable limited English proficient community members, the Community Engagement Navigator will provide direct navigation assistance services, in addition to legal services provided by AJSOCAL programs. The Community Navigator will also promote the services provided by AJSOCAL by cultivating relationships with community partners and actively engaging in community outreach opportunities (e.g. community events, media engagements, and social media activities). The Community Navigator will be working closely with community members who are victims of anti-Asian discrimination, survivors of domestic violence, and clients of AJSOCAL programs.
