Ashland Public Schools seeks a dynamic school adjustment counselor to provide therapeutic support to a new program based on the BRYT model. The candidate will develop and continuously improve a high-functioning program providing clinical and academic supports to students returning to or transitioning into Ashland High School after an experience that has had significant mental health impact in addition to resulting in loss of school time. This position is anticipated to be outside of typcial school hours to provide supports during the school day as well as during after school credit recovery times (roughly 10am to 6pm). Candidates should possess MA DESE licensure as a social worker along with formal training and experience working with adolescents and families struggling with complex challenges, including mental health challenges, causing extended absences from school.
