West Coast Trial Lawyers, a downtown Los Angeles law firm, seeks a Litigation Attorney for our personal injury civil litigation department with 2 years of relevant experience. Depending on experience, the candidate will be assigned as an assisting attorney, or potentially, a lead attorney, with its own commission structure.
The ideal candidate will have some experience working as an attorney or law clerk in a civil litigation department, performing the following tasks:
- Attending depositions
- Assisting the senior attorneys with trial prep
- Making court appearances
- Law and Motion drafting
- Legal writing and research
- Drafting correspondence
- Summarizing and/or propounding discovery
- Drafting notices and objections
- Interacting with clients
Required qualifications:
- Personal injury experience
- Strong legal research and analysis
- General knowledge of California Civil Procedure
- Experience drafting and responding to discovery
- Legal writing experience
Salary is based on experience and compensation package ranges from: $130,000 - $200,000 Benefits (PTO, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, and 401k).
