We're currently looking for a Sales Consultant to join our Call Center team!
This position entails our sales consultants handling all inbound sales calls, internet leads, chats, texts, and outbound follow-ups in a professional and effective manner. Follow up with our guests to answer any questions they may have and set a time for them to meet with a sales manager in our stores. Manage and maintain customer database with our CRM 100% of the time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • When interacting with customers, seeks to deliver exceptional guest experiences by
  • going above-and-beyond. When not interacting with guests, give priority to helping
  • other team members deliver exceptional guest experiences (e.g., by being highly
  • responsive to their requests for information or assistance that will help them serve
  • our guests.
  • Treats all co-workers, customers, and vendors professionally and with respect.

  • Maintains a clean and organized work area.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to the dealership dress code
  • Consistently arrive at work at least 15 minutes before their scheduled time to allow for adequate time to meet with the team and prepare for the shift.
  • Consistently attain specific tasks with this position, including answering leads as trained and professionally within 5 minutes of receiving them. Must maintain a 35% apt ratio and a 50% show ratio.
  • Answer all incoming sales calls professionally as trained. Maintain a 60% appointment ratio and a 50% show ratio.
  • You must first answer the guest's question before asking for anything.
  • Read the email well and listen to the call well.
  • Must follow up with every shown appointment that did not buy, find out why, and share it with the lead, sales manager, and Director in writing
  • Complete eLead work plans on a daily basis. Note that you will not be allowed to handle incoming leads if your work plan is incomplete.
  • Participate in required training sessions as indicated by the manufacturer you support and the organization.
  • Spelling and grammar must be correct at all times.
  • You must utilize your phone scripts and email templates at all times and exhibit you are proficient with them
  • You must have extensive notes on 100% of our guests- tell a story so the manager in the store understands your conversations with our guest
  • All appointments must be in eLeads. Soft appointments may be placed in the guest file (notes); you may not schedule soft appointments
  • Agents must utilize their team leads and sales managers before contacting the Stores.
  • Must be proficient in eLeads and text.100% of our guests must be entered into eLeads
  • Daily check-out with team lead to review completed daily activities, and priority follow
  • up with guests
  • Ethics/Integrity—The teammate represents Asbury Automotive Group by conducting himself/herself in a professional and courteous business manner that demonstrates integrity and strives to create a healthy work environment for all team members.
  • Must quote accurate information to our guests regarding pricing, equipment, or incentives
  • Planning/Organizing—The teammate will be required to alternate between handling inbound leads and follow-up throughout their shift. Neither will be done at the same time. Your team lead or manager will decide the timing.
  • Must be at work on time, follow instructions, respond to management direction, and solicit feedback to improve performance
  • Oversees and protects the dealership's assets and projects a positive image for the company.
  • Maintain conduct consistent with the duties of the position.
  • Strive for harmony and teamwork with all other departments.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as directed by management.
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test)
