Asbury Heights, a premier senior living community, is seeking a Full-Time Medical Records Clerk to join our team! The Medical Records Clerk will be responsible for maintaining and organizing all medical records and information for our residents in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update resident medical records in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure that all medical records are stored securely and confidentially
- Respond to requests from healthcare providers for medical information
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to medical records
- Assist with the coordination and tracking of resident appointments and follow-up care
- Maintain open communication with healthcare providers and staff
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in medical records management preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records systems
