Sales Support Specialist Location: Boise, ID OVERVIEW The Sales Support Specialist is the voice of WPS to all external business partners and the voice of Sales Support to internal customers. This position reports to the Sales Support Supervisor. Sales Support Specialists are outgoing, service-oriented professionals who play an integral role in the supply-chain process by processing orders, applying special pricing, and resolving problems for our outside sales representatives and valued dealers. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining positive, service-driven relationships with our internal and external customers. The ability to work independently with initiative within a team structure, is key. Pride in the quality and accuracy of work, along with an appreciation for the powersports industry, are needed to provide world-class service to anyone needing sales support. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives and enters special dating orders, applying correct terms and pricing.
Informs sales representatives of specials, discounts, shipping dates, anticipated delays and any other critical information needed to support dealer accounts.
Compiles statistics and prepares various sales and dealer history reports for Management.
Creates documentation regarding sales programs, spiffs and general communication for sales representatives and dealers using Word, InDesign and Outlook.
Enters data into our computerized order entry system to determine accurate dealer costs.
Checks inventory and notifies Purchasing and Warehouses teams of orders that would deplete inventory.
Routes orders correctly for fulfillment and follows up on orders to ensure timely delivery.
Computes price, discount, and shipping charges when applicable.
Recommends type of packing or labeling needed on order.
Receives, investigates, and assists in resolving dealer and sales representative complaints.
Confers with Shipping or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
Assists Sales Managers in the planning and execution of annual Sales Meetings.
Any other duties as required.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Associates degree (AS) from an accredited college or university is PREFERRED but not required.
A minimum of two years of administrative support or similar experience is REQUIRED.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is REQUIRED.
Experience with an AS400 type of environment is a BIG PLUS.
Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions and percentages is REQUIRED.
Experience with Adobe InDesign a BIG PLUS, but not required.

Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
