Summary About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. Monitor the rate of labor hours and expenditures against the Internal Operating budget. Prepare reports for higher headquarters to identify contractual costs. Develop direct labor and overhead rates for organizational cost centers. Process funding expenditures in compliance with DoD Financial Management Regulations (FMR). Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes1) Analyzing financial data to assist with budget preparation, 2) Analyzing organizational budget reports to maintain expenditure controls, and 3) Examining budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with the organization's policies and procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Finance, Accounting, Business Administration etc OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12.
