About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a strong background in the construction industry to provide strategic leadership and drive the company's operations towards long-term success. The COO will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management, developing and implementing operational policies, and acting as the primary spokesperson. This hands-on role requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record in managing a company's profit and loss, corporate strategy development, and execution. The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of executive experience in the construction industry, excellent leadership and team management skills, and the ability to proactively manage and resolve complex business issues.Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a BSc/BA in Business Administration or a relevant field, with an MSc/MBA being a plus. The role demands a leader with exceptional conflict management and decision-making abilities, a strong understanding of corporate finance, and in-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices. Experience in developing profitable strategies, implementing vision, and a familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, and finance are also essential. The COO will be expected to engage in key customer activities, oversee fiscal activity, and implement a continuous improvement culture throughout the company.
