How You'll Make a Difference:

Arkos Health is seeking a Member Outreach Specialist . The Member Outreach Specialist will be responsible for engaging with members, promote program services, and facilitate the scheduling of initial visits with our social service case managers. Additionally, the Member Outreach Specialist will be involved in member outreach for special projects. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and sales skills, along with a passion for helping individuals access the support they need.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : 

• Conduct proactive member outreach to promote program services and educate members on available resources and benefits
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve outreach strategies and processes to maximize member engagement and program enrollment
• Utilize effective sales techniques to engage members and encourage enrollment in program services
• Schedule initial visits with social service case managers for members in need of assistance
• Maintain accurate records of member interactions and outreach activities using our designated tracking systems
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition for members from outreach to case management services
• Participate in special projects and campaigns that require member outreach
• Stay updated on program services, eligibility criteria, and community resources to effectively address member inquiries and provide accurate information
• Monitor and report on outreach performance metrics, such as call volume, conversion rates, and member satisfaction

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Proven experience in sales, outreach, or customer service roles, preferably in a healthcare or social services setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  
• Proficiency in using CRM systems, databases, and other software applications for tracking and reporting purposes
• Knowledge of community resources, social service programs, and Medicaid/ Medicare criteria is a plus
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus
