Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct research in materials synthesis and electrochemical performance of materials, which includes leading a project on the electrochemical synthesis of MXenes. Performing materials characterization using XRD, SEM, TEM, XPS, FTIR, TGA, and other relevant materials characterization techniques. Performing research on the discovery of new materials for batteries and electrochemical capacitors.
• Research article and proposal writing.
• Training graduate and undergraduate students in electrochemical and materials characterization techniques 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of materials characterization.
• Knowledge of solid-state batteries and recycling methods.
• Excellent writing skills.
