QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
High school degree or equivalent.
One year proven ability performing administrative work in human resources or other related fields.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to details.
Ability to work well with others while under pressure.
Outstanding communication skills and customer service.
Knowledge and understanding of the mission of the College.
Preferred:
Familiarity with hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, assessment, onboarding)
Classification:
Non-Exempt
Position Type & Work Schedule:
Part-time, up to 19.5 hours per week.
Schedule may vary based on workload.

SUMMARY OF FUNCTION:
Provides support to the Human Resources team in scheduling, data entry, and other functions for the department.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
Serves Students. Provide general college and departmental specific customer service information to staff, students and the public in person. Performs related clerical duties (e.g. answering phones, emails, copies, filing).
Responsible for updating job descriptions for part-time and full-time position (review, edit and format job descriptions). Will work with supervisor and Human Resources personnel for final approval.
Assist the HR team with any projects.
Assist with new hire onboarding (e.g. preparing documents, coordinating orientation agendas) if needed.
Support and participate in strategic initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
