Arizona Autism United is Hiring a Quality Assurance Coordinator Near Chandler, AZ

As a part of the Quality Assurance team, the Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for communication and data entry to help support compliance with AZA United’s Division of Developmental Disabilities contract and other regulatory agencies or funding sources. The Quality Assurance Coordinator will also serve as a resource for the Direct Support Services program to support compliance requirements.

This is a full-time position with a starting pay range of $20 - $25.50 per hour DOE, plus a competitive benefits package. 

Job Duties:

Quality Assurance Activities 

  • Manage organization-wide Incident Reporting 

  • Oversee Member Health-Safety functions 

  • Medication administration tracking and compliance 

  • Coordinate safety measures with various clinic locations 

  • Compile and analyze data related to member and staff safety 

  • Help ensure that department policies and procedures are kept current amidst internal and external changes 

  • Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with funding source requirements 

Direct Support Services Compliance 

  • Review compliance documentation to communicate relevant information surrounding member safety and support needs 

  • Using compliance documentation, complete system data entry for defined service goals and tasks for each member 

  • Lead and support various Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) compliance initiatives

  • Serve as a primary liaison between the Quality Assurance Department and the Direct Support Services Department 

    Communication 

  • Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders to provide high quality coordination and resolve challenges efficiently and effectively 

  • Coordinate cross-departmental efforts to fulfill health, safety and compliance requirements 

  • Collaborate with all levels of employees and management 

  • Participate in follow-up processes to ensure members and staff are adequately supported by AZA United 

  • Work with Administrative, Operations, and Clinical teams to support an effective compliance program 

Experience & Qualifications:

  • GED required; Associate's degree OR equivalent years of related work experience preferred
  • At least 1 year of successful experience in a role that required strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail 
  • Administrative experience with funding sources preferred (DDD, insurance, etc.)
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with tact and perspective across diverse populations
  • Strong ability to multi-task, independently plan and organize own activities to prioritize daily workloads
  • High competence in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Teams, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of habilitation, autism spectrum disorders, systems of care, treatments and services, etc. preferred
  • Must be able to successfully pass a fingerprint clearance check, a tuberculosis screening, and other related hiring requirements
  • Must have reliable transportation AND be willing to work out of our Chandler office and travel to other office locations as needed
