Arisa Medical serves our nations Veterans as a disability practice located in Rome, NY. We are looking for a part-time, welcoming front desk receptionist.

We only see Veterans (prior US Military) for disability evaluations. Standard hours will be 8:30AM-4:30PM. We are a low volume practice that sees 4-8 patients per day.

We are looking for someone who can work part-time. Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday only.

We are offering $18-$22 an hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients, and electronically alert providers they have arrived.
• Answer phone calls
• Maintain organized and clean work environment, including periodically cleaning waiting room chairs with disinfecting wipes.
• Uncommonly, a chaperone may be needed for an exam, ~1-3 times a month
• Take out small trash bag at the end of the day
• Keep office clean and tidy
• Reviewing provider schedules for accuracy.
• Occasionally BP and Vision assistance is needed. There are no procedures, EMR, filing, payments, or insurances required.

Skills:

• Experience is helpful but not required
• Proficiency with typing, organizing, good with numbers, and knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Word
• Solid verbal communication skills
• High School degree
