Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Spa Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a medical office setting.

As a Medical Spa Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, both in-person and over the phone. Your responsibilities will include greeting clients with a warm and welcoming demeanor, scheduling appointments, answering inquiries about our services and treatments, and managing client records with the utmost confidentiality. Additionally, you will handle administrative tasks such as processing payments, maintaining the cleanliness of the reception area, and coordinating with medical staff to ensure that all appointments run on time and efficiently.

Duties:

- Greet clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, scheduling and confirming appointments, managing cancellations, manage client inquiries
- Verify and maintain client information and update information as needed
- Checking out clients, monitors cash drawer, cashing out end of day (counting cash, checking type of card payments etc.)
- End of day: Garbage, assisting with any cleanup etc.

-Filing and preparing client charts for the week
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient client flow

Requirements:

-High School diploma/GED equivalent required

- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred; Minimum 2 years experience in spa, health or human services setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong and efficient computer skills and knowledge as well as medical office software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to exercise initiative and use sound independent judgement and critical thinking skills to effectively and appropriately manage the patient/caller interactions
- A passion for wellness and aesthetics

Experience in a medical spa setting is preferred, but not mandatory. Familiarity with scheduling software and basic office equipment is a plus. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
