Job Description

A medical practice is seeking a receptionist to clean rooms, sanitize tools, fax documents, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, greet clients, and perform other receptionist duties.

You will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m.

Job Duties :

• Verify patient information, record medical history, d ocument vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history
• Complete diagnostic coding and procedure coding
• Schedule surgeries with the Hospitals; verify times with patients and prepare surgery schedule request forms
• Transcribe dictated notes
• Clean and prepare examination rooms at the beginning of the day, before and in between each patient
• Assist the Administrator in maintaining medical inventory, place orders, other procedures, and perform other duties as directed
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications :

• Must have previous receptionist experience in a medical environment
• Must be able to keep all documents updated in a timely manner
• The ability to transcribe dedicated notes is required
• Must have excellent communication, organizational, and telephone skills
• Must be computer literate with accurate data entry skills
• Must have a professional appearance and demeanor
• Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality
