```Job Overview```
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and repair of our facilities and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently.

```Duties```
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and systems
- Perform routine inspections to identify any issues or potential problems
- Fabricate and install parts as needed
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Follow schematics and blueprints to ensure proper installation and repair
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders

```Requirements```
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with various tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Basic electrical knowledge for troubleshooting purposes
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Prior experience in a maintenance or facilities role is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.69 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
