Responsibilities

Ensure all equipment needed for procedures is disinfected, assembled, and functioning properly
Prepare patients for their surgery, arrange medical equipment and assist doctors during surgical procedures
Open supplies and instruments utilizing the aseptic technique
Prepare the operating room for pre-assigned cases using physician preference
Sterilize equipment and provide surgeons instruments upon their request during surgical procedures
Order, replenish, and take inventory of supplies and other surgical supplies as needed

Qualifications
Job Requirements

Possess an accredited Surgical Technologist Certification OR be willing and eligible to obtain it within the first six months of employment
High School Diploma or equivalent
Active BLS certification
