Primary Responsibilities

• Process and maintain monthly project billing for professional services rendered

• Ad hoc reporting to assist project managers (must be able to use Excel effectively)

• Set up and maintain projects in Deltek Vantagepoint (professional services accounting software)

• Accounts Payable processing including coding, issuing checks, and bank reconciliations

• Recording cash receipts and reporting on cash position

• General ledger entries and account reconciliations

• Assist controller as needed

Experience, Skills and Traits for Success

• B.S. or B.A. in Accounting required

• 5 years of accounting experience within the professional service industry

• Strong software skills – particularly Excel (pivot tables are a plus) and other Microsoft Office Programs; Deltek Vision or other ERP software a plus

• Understanding of contract terminology
