Job Description:
As a Project Accountant, you will play a vital role in our organization's financial operations, working closely with a diverse team of professionals to ensure the smooth financial progress of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Tracking and Reporting: Manage and track the financial progress of various projects, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and maintenance of project budgets, providing valuable insights to project managers.
  • Cost Control: Implement and monitor cost control measures to ensure projects stay within budgetary constraints.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to process invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to provide financial support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a construction or engineering firm.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
