Qualifications:
All students must be U.S. Citizens or
Students must be at least sixteen (16) years of age by June 30, 2024, and currently attending a college or university.
Students must have a major in U.S. history, archival science, library science or other field related to the position being filled.
Note: Participation in the Summer Intern Employment Program is limited to a total of three years. Candidates are eligible to participate no more than three years, collectively or consecutively, in the Summer Intern Employment Program. Candidates who have reached the three years in the program will be deemed ineligible to participate this calendar year.
Other Conditions:
Must be physically able to use ladders, lift boxes of records up to 17 feet above the floor and typically weighing up to fifty (50) pounds. May require strenuous physical work and some environmental extremes, such as cold, humidity, dust and occasional chemical fumes and vapors.

Archives Aide:
The Archives Aide will work with the archives staff to perform basic archival accessioning, holdings maintenance, arrangement, description and preservation.
Student employees in this role may provide support to researchers and conduct research in the AOC archival collection to respond to reference requests. The student employees may also provide general office assistance.
