Archimedes Global is currently recruiting a Part-time Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Alexandria, VA. This position is telework eligible with the ability to work onsite in Alexandria, VA, as required.

The selected individual will:

• Recommend methods for completing defense business system objectives to government lead, based on both user needs and a good understanding of information technology, business processes, and industry requirements. This requires careful coordination with interagency Information Systems analysts and the Services.
• Review existing system scope for TAP defense business systems and provide courses of action recommendations to government lead for approval to ensure the system collects information on transition assistance activities annually for over 200,000 service members prior to their transition from service to accomplish the government approved system scope targets. This requires careful coordination with interagency Information Systems Analysts and the Services.
• Review and analyze TAP business processes ensuring that the system captures the required data and has the required user interface and functionality and recommend efficiencies to government lead. Assist in implementing approved recommended efficiencies.
• Review documentation and functionality of TAP business systems to ensure the system certifications are in accordance with the Office of the Deputy Chief Management Officer (ODCMO) and DoD Chief Information Officer (CIO) policies. Report any inconsistencies discovered for government consideration.
• Prepare system and system certification related documents for approval by the government lead as needed to support the mission.
• Review data sharing business cases with interagency partners and provide recommendations for content additions or revisions that support the MCTO mission to the government lead, such as ensuring accurate description of partner agency business need for the data, challenges, business requirements and data use strategy. This requires careful coordination with interagency partners.
• Develop professional PowerPoint briefings, reports, user guides, and memos that describe changes to the MCTO IT Business Systems, user interface and functionality changes (e.g., convey pending requirements for modification to the IT Business Systems in laymen terms to the users of the system), and findings and interpretation of analysis and evaluation of data related to the TAP IT Business Systems.
• Provide meeting support for interagency meetings for TAP Data Sharing and the TAP IT Defense Business Systems by taking minutes, coordinating meeting location, sending meetings invites and compiling information from working group assignments. This may require one 5 day trip to the west coast annually.
• Provide Tier I help desk support to DoD TAP website. Monitor and track all user inquiries.
