We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team during night shifts. Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line machines during night shifts. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct maintenance and repairs on machinery to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. This position requires expertise in PLC systems and experience with Fanuc robotics, along with proficiency in a variety of other technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on production line machines to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
- Collaborate with the production team to prioritize maintenance needs and schedule repairs accordingly.
- Document maintenance activities, including repairs and parts used, accurately in maintenance logs.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably during night shifts.
- Proficiency in PLC systems troubleshooting and programming.
- Hands-on experience with Fanuc robotics is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with welding, soldering (copper and wires), and blueprint reading.
- Skilled in pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to operate hoists, forklifts, and interpret crane hand signals.
- Knowledge of PLC logic, with the ability to reteach/reprogram robots including Fanuc.
- Experience realigning pumps, reading dial indicators, and aligning and tensioning belts and chains.
- Vast knowledge of hand and power tools.
