Required Experience:
Responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining the Linux servers and workstations, responsible for maintaining the health of the network and servers to include:
- Designing, implementing, securing and maintaining the computer systems for its test, development environment
- Identify and analyze the issues that hamper the performance of the system, work in close coordination with the development team to identify solutions for issues
- Scripting,
- Secure the systems, assess risks, implement solutions, install patches, comply with IAVA/B, other related security compliance updates,
- Write and modify scripts for application deployments as well as system monitoring
- Support system backup/ fail over strategies.
Desired Experience:
- Current TS Security Clearance
- Linux System Administration Experience
- Experience managing information technologies such as networking, IPSec, network attached storage, virtualization, containers
- Scripting, testing, and automation (e.g., bash, python, ruby, ansible)
- GIT
Qualifications
- Experience and/or knowledge of working in a Linux command line environment
- Willingness and ability to obtain a top secret clearance
- Basic familiarity with information technologies such as networking, IPSec, network attached storage, virtualization, containers
- Requires 2 to 4 years with BS/BA or 0 to 2 years with MS/MA/MBA or 8 to 10 years with no degree.
