The Ideal candidate will be either a graduate of an industrial apprenticeship program or 2-year technical school with at least 3 years industrial experience or have a minimum of 5 yrs. experience as a maintenance electrician/mechanic in an industrial manufacturing facility.

Job Type: 90 days probatory to Full-time

Pay: From $26 per hour negotiable as proven experienced and performance.

· Perform basic equipment diagnosis for both electrical & mechanical issues.

· Must have an understanding and experience in all phases of 110-480 volt system with higher voltage experience preferred.

· Responsible for completion of work orders for tasks related to the physical maintenance and repairs of the assigned buildings utilizing work order related software programs.

· Disassemble/reassemble equipment such as gearboxes, cylinders, pumps, valves, etc. and repair/replace worn or defective parts.· Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics and pneumatics.· Troubleshoot, install and repair ac/dc motors, starters, relays and drives.· Welding and machining experience. Non exclusive.· Install new equipment and understand technical manuals, read blueprints and how to purchase replacement parts necessary to make equipment repairs.· Perform preventive maintenance per planned schedules. Clean and lubricate machinery. Inspect equipment operating conditions. Identify root causes of equipment problems.· Responsible for implementing routine physical improvements.
· Assist Supervisor in establishing and maintaining all equipment, tools, supplies in stock, inventories and logs.
· Implement, with Supervisor, a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan and maintain all related records and logs.
· Adhere to all safety standards, policies & procedures, codes of conduct and best practices.
· Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times with team members.
· Utilize materials, supplies, tools and other building property in a safe, productive manner.
· Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Maintenance Technicians Requirements

· 2 years of related work experience and technical training.
· High school graduate or GED required, technical school training in maintenance related courses are preferred.
· Ability to understand and interpret design documents, manufacturer s specifications and written operational procedures.
· Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure teamwork and positive client/tenant/co-worker relations.
· Be able to take direction and follow instructions.
· Must be safety conscious and thrive for food safety consciouness.
· Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
· Basic aptitude for mathematics.
· Capable of doing walking, climbing of stairs and ladders, lifting/carrying a minimum of 50 pounds by applying proper body mechanics
· Willingness to work overtime on special projects as required.
· Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new job-related software
· Have working knowledge of tools and their proper use.
