1) Plan, design and coordinate service to new and existing customers in a timely, cost effective, safe and reliable fashion.
2) Leverage design services within the organization by promoting, selling and delivering on aggressive design cycle turn around.
3) Ensure facilities are designed in accordance with good utility practice and to ensure safe, reliable and economic operating systems.
4) Establish and maintain positive relationships with key accounts, developers, homebuilders and municipalities and ensure departmental initiatives are linked to key constituent needs. (Customer Service only).
5) Maintain a technically competent staff to meet customer needs.
6) Provide a positive, interactive work environment that fosters high levels of trust, open communication, cooperation, employee performance and growth.
7) Effectively interface with internal and external customers, key accounts and municipalities to assess their needs; determine project scope; and facilitate project completion.
8) Develops and implements processes and procedures for efficiently managing a high volume of projects and tracking performance metrics to ensure design cycle times are consistently met.
9) Frequently meet with internal leaders to understand their business units and customers design needs. Leverage design services within the organization by promoting, selling and delivering on aggressive design cycle turn around.
