We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Corporate Development to spearhead our growth initiatives through strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and seamless integration. This role is pivotal in driving our company's expansion and market presence and will require working some weekends and 60% travel for industry events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the entire business development lifecycle, from identifying potential targets to closing deals, including due diligence, negotiation, and integration.
• Lead a team of Senior Analysts, providing direction and guidance to ensure strategic goals are achieved.
• Cultivate relationships with medical practices to explore and secure partnership and acquisition opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including legal, financial, and other partners, to facilitate successful deals.
• Travel extensively to meet with potential partners, conduct due diligence, and represent the company at industry events.
• Uphold our values of excellence, compassion, community, accountability, and teamwork in all business development activities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate Development/Business Development in a high-growth, acquisition-focused environment, preferably within private equity.
• Proven expertise in investment banking or private equity, particularly in due diligence and deal structuring.
• Demonstrated success in working with medical practices, particularly in specialty areas.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing small teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a collaborative approach to working both internally and externally.
