Applied Power Products is Hiring an Outside Sales Representative Near Lakeville, MN

Applied Power Products, Inc. is looking for a self-motivated candidate to fill an outside technical sales position in Minnesota and the surrounding region. You will be responsible for sales of all our product lines. This includes die cutting, fabrication, seals, O-rings, power transmission parts, conveyor belting, and hose. This position requires a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with technical knowledge and expertise to join our team. Full time position, Monday-Friday schedule

Applied Power Products is a multi-faceted organization that combines distribution and fabrication to serve the needs of customers in the Upper Midwest and around the world. Our company is headquartered in Lakeville, Minnesota. This facility also handles the distribution of seals, hose assemblies, power transmission products and conveyor belting. The fabrication division, also in Lakeville, MN, offers die cut and water jet cut services, as well as, molded and extruded parts from a wide variety of materials.

Responsibilities:

· Negotiate prices and terms of sales

· Prepare and submit quotes with the help of customer service

· Visit customers regularly to evaluate requirements and promote products

· Deliver excellent customer service from beginning to end

Requirements of the position:

· Some overnight travel required

· Occasional evenings (Customer and supplier events)

· Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

Experience and Qualifications:

· Self-starter with strong communication skills

· Microsoft office – Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Industrial sales experience

· Customer service (2 preferred)

· Strong mechanical aptitude
