Award Winning - Employee Owned - Comprehensive Benefits Ownership Opportunity - Continuing Education Support JOB SUMMARY As a Tool & Die Maker in Racine, Wisconsin, you will : maintain, troubleshoot, and repair dies, die components, and tooling used in the production process;
• utilize manual and CNC equipment and tool room machinery; maintain stamping dies of all types, die components and production tooling, and troubleshoot dies in press;

communicate effectively with operators, set-up personnel, and supervisors regarding tooling requirements; complete all required paperwork, quality records, and documents, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.

QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED required State-indentured Tool & Die Maker apprenticeship or 10 years equivalent experience required Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings and safely operate all tool room machinery required Modern press punch experience preferred Transfer and / or progressive die knowledge a plus CNC experience a plus SKILLS AND VALUES Capable of working independently and as a team member Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking Effective verbal and written communication Desire to work on a variety of projects BENEFITS AND PERKS Applied Engineering is a 100% employee-owned engineering and technology consulting company dedicated to providing exceptional talent and technology.
