In this role, you will make, modify, maintain and rebuild tooling and dies used in a precision metal fabrication environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dive into the intricacies of precision measurement, ensuring that every part meets exacting standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Harness your technical expertise to interpret blueprints, plan sequences of operations, and fabricate tools, dies, and assemblies with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Command a range of manual and CNC machine tools, from lathes to milling machines, leveraging their power to craft precision components.
  • Assemble, fit, and fine-tune parts to perfection, ensuring that every tool, die, jig, and fixture meets the highest standards of craftsmanship.
  • Design innovative work aids and fixtures, unleashing your creativity to streamline production processes and drive efficiency to new heights.

Qualifications:

  • Bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Tool & Die Maker. Journeyman licensing is preferred.
  • Possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for perfection, with the ability to read, interpret, and execute complex blueprints and specifications.
  • Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, complemented by additional schooling in Die Building/Maintenance, Tool & Die Maker/machinist, or a state indentured journeyman’s card.

Key Information:

  • Unlock a competitive hourly salary ranging from $24 to $35 per hour, commensurate with your experience and expertise. Plus 5-15 hours average overtime per week.
  • Kick off your journey with a 90-day training period on the 1st shift, with opportunities to transition to the 2nd shift upon completion.
