We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to work with one of our best clients in the Doral area. They are an FAA-accredited company established in 2009 in the jet engine maintenance industry, serving airlines, lessors, and aviation organizations worldwide, specialized in offering repair solutions for CFM56-3, -5B & -7B engines.
As a Quality Assurance Manager you will:
- Establish and maintain a system for ongoing analysis and surveillance of the inspection program's performance and effectiveness.
- Manage maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations programs
- Correct deficiencies in programs executed by the certificate holder or other entities
- Manage Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions (CAPA) program
- Ensure proactive implementation of CAPA program adapting to regulatory and company changes
- Compile electronic presentations incorporating graphs, photographic supporting documentation, and monthly performance metrics
- Publish and distribute monthly CAPA/CAR report to company officers, managers, and relevant FAA personnel
- Maintain file system for storing and archiving data used in the CAPA program
- Report progress and issue status from previous meetings
- Recommend maintenance program changes based on trend analysis
- Conduct internal and external audits as required by the company Audits Program
- Plan, prepare, and conduct compliance audits, inspections, and surveillance activities
- Generate detailed Audit Reports identifying deficient areas and documenting -discrepancies
- Gather information to support investigations and analyses from database queries, reports, internal/external databases, and surveillance activities
- Conduct follow-up and compliance audits to ensure process improvement and effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions
