Position Overview:
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of various utility projects. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support project activities.
Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns or issues.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and efficiencies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the utility industry.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to utility projects is a plus.
