We are looking for a Payroll Specialist who has 3-5 years of experience who can process payroll data, record employees times, deductions, taxes and prepare payroll checks and liability checks.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
• Ensures accurate accounting and reporting on all payroll related feeds to auditors.
• Reconciles and completes quarterly and annual federal and state tax reporting, including Forms W-2 and correction reports as required.
• Processes payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing required
• Proficient in Payroll laws, codes, rules, and regulations. Principles and techniques involved in payroll preparation, monitoring and control.
• Have experience working in a union environment in a multi-state company. preferred.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Must be proficient in Paylocity, ADP WorkForce or a related payroll system.
