Healthcare facility located in Dyersburg, TN. Is seeking an outgoing, personable Medical Receptionist to join their team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Warmly greet and assist patients, ensuring a welcoming environment and effective communication.
• Manage appointment bookings efficiently, using scheduling software to maintain accurate records.
• Facilitate smooth check-in / out processes, verifying insurance details and processing payments.
• Handle incoming calls and emails promptly, directing inquiries and ensuring accurate message relay.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in managing patient records, aiding with record transfers as needed.
• Assist with administrative tasks and contribute to the organization of the reception area.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
• Previous experience in a medical receptionist role preferred, with specific experience in cardiology highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and office software, with experience in electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is beneficial.
• Familiarity with insurance processes, including billing and coding, is an asset.
