Position Title : Route Scheduler

Position Summary :

The Route Scheduler is responsible for creating and managing schedules for our service team, optimizing routes, and ensuring that all client appointments are met in a timely and efficient manner.

This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for the service team.
• Optimize routes to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal travel time.
• Coordinate with service team members to address any scheduling conflicts or changes.
• Communicate schedule details and changes to the service team promptly.
• Monitor service progress and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate emergencies or high-priority requests.
• Maintain accurate records of service appointments, routes, and team availability.
• Collaborate with management to forecast staffing needs and adjust schedules accordingly.
• Utilize scheduling software and tools to streamline the scheduling process.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding service schedules.
• Generate and analyze reports on scheduling efficiency and team performance.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of two years of experience in scheduling or coordinating a service team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of the local area and geography for route optimization.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings, to meet scheduling demands.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work effectively in a team environment.
