Job Description :
As a Medical Coder / Biller, you will work in a supporting role to our billing manager, ensuring the efficient processing of medical claims and maintaining accurate patient billing records.
Key responsibilities include :
- Utilizing your working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Conducting AR follow-up and handling denials promptly
- Managing enrollments and charge submissions for government aid programs and patient assistance programs
- Facilitating pre-certifications, prior authorizations, and insurance verifications
- Responding to and resolving patient inquiries regarding billing matters
Qualifications :
- 1-2 years of experience in medical coding and billing
- Professional certification / degree is a plus!
- Ability to thrive in an open office environment with a collaborative team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
