We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our growing team!

Here's what you'll do:
Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures for project costs, including joint checks, contracts, billings, and more.
Prepare monthly billings for owners, subcontractors, purchase orders, and change orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Manage accounts receivable by processing invoices and ensuring timely receipt of payments.
Oversee accounts payable by processing invoices and coordinating payments according to established procedures.
Collect all necessary accounting releases for monthly billings.
Perform in-depth job cost analyses and maintain accurate records of schedules of values, budgets, commitments, change orders, and contract changes.
Assist with internal and external audits related to project accounting.
Requirements:
Possesses an Associate's degree in Accounting or 3-4 years of relevant experience.
Experience in construction, plumbing, or electrical industries.
Proficiency in accounting software (Timberline or QuickBooks preferred), project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel).
