Position: Accountant
Are you a detail-oriented and experienced accountant looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our finance team. If you have a strong background in accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
-Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
-Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial statement analysis.
-Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes and provide insights into financial performance.
-Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
-Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
-Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax and sales tax filings.
-Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial guidance and support.
-Assist with audits and provide documentation and support as needed.
-Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; CPA certification preferred.
-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
-Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
-Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
-Knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
