Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Applebee's. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of the restaurant. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with daily restaurant operations, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales. Responsibilities:

- Assist the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.

- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.

- Train and develop team members on food preparation, service techniques, and customer service skills.

- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members.

- Maintain restaurant cleanliness and appearance.

- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management.

- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Utilize the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role in the food service industry.

- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service principles.

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.

- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing teams effectively.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Proficient in using POS systems and other restaurant software applications.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
