Grow your career as an HR Business Partner within ALG Vacations, one of our 14 industry-leading brands. The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic partner to our Contact Center leaders and colleagues by embedding corporate HR strategy into day-to-day work and providing HR guidance and support to internal client groups with the objective of adding value to the business.

A successful HR Business Partner will:

  • Contribute to the business strategy by helping business leaders identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.
  • Facilitate long-term initiatives aligned with the strategic agenda.
  • Identify new opportunities for HR to add value to the business.
  • Review and benchmark the internal and external environment to improve HR policies and initiatives.
  • Provide accurate and actionable data to leaders.
  • Review key business performance targets and their related talent implications with business leaders.
  • Support leaders in forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirements in line with the function or business strategy.
  • Assist business unit leaders in providing employees with development opportunities that align with current and future performance standards.
  • Implement appropriate employee training and manage its delivery.
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to employees when appropriate.
  • Understand and solicit employee opinions and anticipate their needs and concerns.
  • Collect and effectively act on feedback from employees to resolve issues and concerns.
  • Contribute to the sharing of best practices within HR and across functions to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Maintain knowledge of progressive HR practices and key trends.
  • Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR operational plan and contribute to functional and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR COEs to review talent needs, frame effective solutions, and execute programs and processes.
  • Effectively deliver HR’s core processes: performance management cycle, engagement, talent reviews and succession planning etc.
  • Act as a liaison between the leaders and COEs to ensure the effective execution of HR initiatives and full compliance of HR procedures and processes.
  • Guide and support leaders in the effective administration of discipline and corrective action.
  • Conduct investigations in a timely and appropriate manner.

A successful HR Business Partner will have:

  • Experience supporting contact centers or large groups of non-exempt colleagues.
  • Business acumen and financial literacy
  • Comprehensive understanding of the link between talent and other HR initiatives and business strategy
  • Ability to identify, develop, and execute actions to support the overall business strategy.
  • Ability to collect and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Ability to recognize trends and develop recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Ability to guide and coach colleagues and leaders.
  • Ability to engage, inspire, and influence people, navigating employees through change.
  • Ability to influence and manage competing interests and priorities.
  • Ability to deliver effective training programs to targeted audiences.
  • Effective team player and networker
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Significant knowledge of HR policies, processes, and talent management practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • This role is required to be in or near the Milwaukee, WI area and will require a hybrid schedule
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR management, or related field
  • PHR or SPHR (preferred but not required)
  • A minimum of five-years Human Resources experience
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
