The Assistant Controller will support the Controller in the day to day operations and financial reporting for the Apollo Infrastructure Funds. Primary Responsibilities The individual will work with a financial and operational team responsible for investor reporting, compliance with the LPA, management and financial reporting, performance measurement, and financial analysis for the Apollo Infrastructure Funds Review financial statements, partner allocations, capital account statements and performance reporting as prepared by Junior and Senior accountants. Prepare capital calls and perform reasonableness and analytical reviews Prepare waterfall calculations and distributions Review work of Junior and Senior accountants including journal entries, cash movements and monthly/quarterly closing work papers Review valuation memos and report to the Controller any issues and assist in remediation Work with Corporate Controllers to report and record all monthly and quarterly AGM reporting (carried interest income, GP direct interest) Work with internal and external tax counsel on investor tax reporting and investment structuring. Work with Controller on deal closings, restructurings, financing Liaise with Marketing and Investor Servicing teams on quarterly reporting and ad-hoc investor requests Complete ad hoc and special projects and initiatives as directed Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3-5 years of experience (mix of public accounting & and private preferred) Undergraduate accounting degree with exceptional academic credentials; Strong U.S. GAAP and technical accounting expertise (CPA or equivalent preferred) Closed-end investment company experience required Exhibit strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills Proficiency with Excel (modeling skills a plus) Individual must be diligent and work well in a team environment Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Demonstrated ability in taking initiative A forward thinking, creative individual with high ethical standards Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines with great attention to detail Experience with Investran is a plus Apollo Global Management Inc. is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. Pay Range 121,500-175,000 The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
