Responsibilities:
The Accounting Director will be responsible for:
- Development of processes and system improvements for our finance and accounting teams.
- Ensuring the department's service deliverables are met.
- Preparing custom financial reports to meet the audit, budgetary, and periodic needs of clients
- Reviewing financial transactions to determine whether the underlying information requires tax adjustments
- Preparation of custom financial statement, budget and ad-hoc reports for clients
- Trial Balance and workpaper preparation in connection with audit support engagements
- Supporting the month / year-end close process through the research/ resolution of open issues
- Recording books to tax adjustments as they relate certain tax matters across various
- Performing other duties, as needed
- 10 years of related work experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- CPA
- Microsoft Excel proficient
- Solid analytical and research skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Master's Degree
