Job Location: Newburyport, Massachusetts

Shift: 11pm-7:30am Nights; with every other weekend

Pay Package:

Local Rate-$70 /hr on W2. (without benefits)

Travel Rate: 40 hr (taxable) on W2 $1330/weekly (nontaxable) =$2770(Weekly gross)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse to join our team. As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will provide specialized care to patients with mental health disorders. Your role will involve assessing patients, developing care plans, administering medications, and providing therapeutic interventions. Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness
- Provide therapeutic interventions and counseling to patients
- Monitor and document patients' progress and response to treatment
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options
- Assist in discharge planning and coordination of follow-up care

Skills:
- Proficiency in ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes
- Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Knowledge and experience in administering injections
- Familiarity with discharge planning procedures
- Competency in IV insertion and infusion techniques
- Strong understanding of physiology and its relation to mental health disorders
- Experience with sonography for diagnostic purposes is a plus
- Proficiency in eClinicalWorks or similar electronic medical record systems
- Knowledge of assisted living facilities and their specific care requirements

Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in [state]
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum [X] years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse or similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
