Position Details:

• Title: Radiologic Technologist/ X-ray Tech
• 2 years of relevant experience as Radiology Tech.
• Location: Multiple locations such as Duluth, Roswell, Austell, Atlanta, etc
• Pay Rate: $45/60 per hour DOE
• Shift: 40/36 hours, all shifts available
• Certification Required: Active ARRT, BLS required.

Job Description:

The X-ray Technologist / Radiologic Technologist will work on a 13-week contracts
The ideal candidate will possess BLS and ARRT certification, with a preference for ACLS certification. A minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty is required.
The role involves providing support for surgical cases requiring imaging, and experience with OR and C-arm is preferred.

Radiologic Technologist duties and responsibilities

• Follow instructions from Physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging
• Talk the patient through the procedure and answer questions to lower their anxiety
• Correctly position the patient, adjust the imaging equipment to the specified position
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to themselves and to the patient
• Follow correct techniques and procedures such as patient shielding
• Keep good patient records
• Maintain radiology supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating future needs and placing orders
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
